Background
Plaintiff Maria Tanilli, through Shamis & Gentile, P.A., requested an adjournment of the initial pretrial conference. The conference had been scheduled for December 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Counsel stated that planned travel outside the United States conflicted with that date. Counsel also stated that the defendant’s position could not be obtained because service had occurred on November 14, 2025, and defense counsel had not yet appeared. The request was identified as Plaintiff’s first request.
Ruling
The court ordered that the initial pretrial conference be adjourned to January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom 20C of the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, New York, New York. The parties’ joint submission, guided by the court’s September 25, 2025 order, is due no later than December 30, 2025.
