Background
Sean Best, proceeding without a lawyer, sent the court a letter containing several requests. The court noted that Best had not complied with an earlier order directing him to update his address after the defendants represented that he had been released from custody. The court again cautioned that failing to promptly notify the court in writing of an address change could result in dismissal.
Best asked the court to mail him a copy of his first amended complaint and a copy of his opposition to the defendants’ motion to dismiss. He also requested a 60-day extension to respond to that motion and another 60 days from receiving the first amended complaint to file a second amended complaint.
