Background
On August 18, 2021, the court granted in part BMaddox Enterprises LLC’s motion for summary judgment against Milad Oskouie and granted BMaddox’s motion for default judgment against Osko M Ltd. and Platinum Avenue Holdings Pty, Ltd. On April 18, 2022, BMaddox filed an unopposed motion for attorneys’ fees and costs under Section 505 of the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 505. The court referred that motion to Magistrate Judge Cave.
Report and Recommendation
Judge Cave issued a report and recommendation on January 6, 2023. No party filed an objection. Under the governing procedure, when no objection is filed, the district court may adopt the recommendation if the record shows no clear error—that is, no obvious mistake.
Ruling
