Background
Global Media Network filed this civil action without a lawyer. The plaintiff did not pay the filing fees and did not submit an application to proceed without prepaying fees, known as an IFP application.
Order
The court directed Global Media Network, within 30 days of the order, to do one of two things:
1. Pay $405 in fees, consisting of a $350 filing fee and a $55 administrative fee; or 2. Submit a signed IFP application labeled with docket number 1:25-CV-0397 (LTS).
If the court grants the IFP application, Global Media Network will be permitted to proceed without prepaying the fees. No summons will issue at this time. If Global Media Network complies, the Clerk’s Office will process the case under its procedures. If the plaintiff does not comply within the allowed time, the action will be dismissed.
Appeal
